Greetings Everyone, Welcome to my podcast “Close to the Bone.” I’m your host, Carl Vreeland.

This is a podcast about uncovering the uncomfortable truth as a means to experience more joy, peace, and happiness. I was a depressed, cynical, angry, and unforgiving person. Through the guidance of others, I overcame a miserable existence. It is my hope to help others find a path out of the darkness and into the light.

It was through the help of others that I was able to overcome addiction, depression, and a very dark, distorted view of myself and the world. By creating this podcast, it is my intention to offer ways out of the darkness for those who are suffering.
